All you need is “iSquint,” a free download available by clicking here. But, there’s more good news: you can easily compress a movie to less than half its original size while retaining almost all of the quality. The bad news is that these files are a little on the large side. It’s easy, and it’s fun– so easy, and so fun, that just about all of you recorded a movie and emailed it to me. In iMovie 10 Apple removed the capability to alter the video compression settings using Quicktime but you can still reduce the file size to ensure it is under 500 MB. Step 3.
